Affiliates are required to adhere to the following: Marketing Guidelines: . Approved Creative can be accessed at http://onetechnologies.net/compliance. The Approved Creative must be used specifically for the offer presented i.e. 2-Bureau creative to be used for 2Bureau offers. . Affiliates are required to only use the acceptable email creative, friendly from, domain and subject lines as provided by the advertiser. . Marketing which contains “free”, “complimentary” or similar language must include approved trial language. o The disclaimer can be present within the verbiage or as a standalone statement, and must be at least the same size as the smallest other text on the creative (excluding footers). . Standalone: “With a 7 day free trial” or “With a 7 day trial” or “With a 7 day free Scoresense trial” . Verbiage: “With a 7 day free trial you get…” . Disclaimer must be in line with or above the CTA . Must use compliant Landing pages provided by OT . Third party trademarks or intellectual property (including logos) are not allowed. . Affiliates may not employ, use or receive any direct or indirect benefit from any “cookie stuffing/forced click” methods . Affiliates are required to send Referers with all sales. . Affiliates may not create/advertise on a site that mimics any of OT’s sites without express written permission. . Affiliates may not advertise via paid search methods. . Making the purchase of our product a condition of obtaining any other product or service is not allowed. o E.g. Serving as the last step or final step in a cross sale for a related product is not allowed. . No typo squatting of any OT owned sites. . No advertising on sites that contain adult content, racial, political, hate mongering or otherwise questionable content etc. . Affiliates may not run campaigns that are detrimental to OT brand. o E.g. requiring consumers to enter credit information in order to proceed in a related offer is not allowed. o See Thank You Page / Cross Sell Guidelines for more information. . The following terms (including misspellings and spacing variations) cannot be used in any type of marketing: o Free Credit Report o Annual Credit Report . Interstitial Pages PPV Marketing Guidelines Updated May 29, 2014 FreeScore360 instituted new policies and guidelines regarding PPV creative. Publishers who violate any of the policies outlined below will be notified of the violation and will have until the end of the next business day to resolve the issue. If the publisher is unable or unwilling to make the required changes in the time allowed, they will be subject to an automatic and non-negotiable TWO WEEK SUSPENSION, during which time they will not be allowed to send ANY traffic to the offer. While suspended, the publisher may provide compliant creative on LIVE URLs for approval. If the creative is approved, and the publisher has served the mandatory two week suspension, the pub may be allowed back on the offer. However, if the publisher incurs a second violation, they will be cut from the offer permanently. NOTE: Egregious violations of these policies will result in chargebacks of sales. All creative revisions, no matter how small, require PRIOR approval from FS360 and One Technologies LLC prior to running. 2. Creative revisions will only be reviewed if published and provided on LIVE URLs. Screenshots are no longer acceptable. 3. Publishers MAY NOT pop over any government, government assistance or government affiliated websites, including, but not limited to: Unemployment Benefits sites, Section 8 Housing sites, https://www.annualcreditreport.com, http://www.ftc.gov/, http://www.consumerfinance.gov/, etc. 4. Publishers MAY NOT make reference to real or potential update or change in a recipient’s score.You MAY NOT use Report or Reports in the creative. 5. You MAY NOT use any type of “Security Breach” language or any language that creates a false sense of urgency. 6. You MAY NOT copy any fonts, looks, or styles of the sites you’re popping over that would lead a user to believe the site popped over is sponsoring the ad. 7. You MAY NOT use any logos of the website being popped over and you MAY NOT use the company name or the domain name of the owner/operator of the website being popped over. 8. You MAY NOT use any trademark without the explicit written permission of the trademark owner which would have to be provided PRIOR to running. 9. Publishers MAY NOT target or pop-over government regulatory or competitor websites. 10. Publishers MUST negatively match against the following websites. You MAY pop over bank websites and bureau websites. 12. You MAY use audio in your creative, however it must be limited to a simple beep or chime. No voiceover messages are allowed. All audio elements must be approved PRIOR to running. 13. You MAY use the words “Attention” and “Visitor” in the creative copy. 14. You MAY use general industry terms such as “BANK,” “LOAN,” or “CREDIT UNION in the creative.” For example, “Attention Bank Visitor” or “Reminder to Credit Union Visitors,” are approved headers. 15. General Industry terms not mentioned MUST be approved PRIOR running. 16. You may ONLY use the plain text versions of the bureau logos you may not use the trademarked bureau logos. (Please note for the Score Sense Select 2Bureau offer you may not use any bureau logos). 17. All PPV creative must include the following disclaimer, ABOVE the fold of the page. . “© 2013 All rights reserved. This is an advertisement for third party credit monitoring services.” Additional Free Language PPV Creative Guidelines: 1. When using FREE or COMPLIMENTARY language, publishers must add at the top of the landing page, the word “ADVERTISEMENT.” It needs to be centered and big enough for ANY user to read. The recommended font size is 14pt – 18pt. 2. When using FREE or COMPLIMENTARY language, publishers must add the disclaimer “with 7-day trial. See next page for details” Below the call-to-action button. Email Marketing Guidelines Purpose: To provide guidance to Affiliates promoting the FreeScore360 email offer. Affiliates are required to adhere to the following: Guidelines: . Affiliates are required to only use the acceptable email creative, friendly from, domain and subject lines which One Technologies (OT) provides. Any other mail marketing material needs to be submitted to affiliateapproval@onetechnologies.net for express written permission prior to any mailings. . Affiliates may not insert the recipient’s name or email address in the subject line. . Affiliates may not link to our offer in an email using another product’s offer or creative. . Affiliates may not advertise dual offers . Affiliates may not falsify the email header or transmission information (including, without limitation, source, date sent, destination and routing information). o It needs to be clear to the mail recipient exactly who the mail is from and when it was sent. . Affiliates must include a functioning unsubscribe link to the mailer and the OT offer, which adds the user to the appropriate opt out lists. . The email must include prominent opt-out instructions, and a toll-free telephone number, physical address, or valid email address at which recipient may contact to file complaints and/or opt-out. . Affiliates are required to download and scrub against the suppression file a minimum of every 10 days or no more than two days before any mailing. . Emails containing any security breach style language is expressly forbidden. . Emails containing any service email style verbiage, such as “Your order”, “Attention: Your score has changed” is expressly forbidden. . Affiliates are required to use the creative, subject lines and domains relating to the specific offer i.e. 2B or 3B. . Emails cannot contain any language that creates a sense of familiarity/relationship e.g. “Regarding” . Affiliates shall, upon request, supply the Opt-In data and Opt-In language for an email address used by a consumer opting-in with Affirmative Consent to such Affiliate Email Campaign. These Email Marketing Guidelines are in addition to, and do not replace, the General Guidelines. Thank You Page/Cross Sell Guidelines Purpose: To provide guidance to Affiliates for the creation of compliant optional and/or educational offers to Consumers after enrollment. Affiliates are required to adhere to the following: Advertisement Guidelines: . The offer cannot be mandatory, or promoted as a required step. - For example, the offer cannot be a “next step” or “final step”. . The offer must be promoted only as optional/educational and can be marketed as an advertisement or additional offer. . The offer cannot include a text box to insert a credit score into. . The offer can include a drop down box with a credit score range IF this information is actually relevant to what the consumer will receive. - For example, if a consumer selects a range of 500-550, they should receive pertinent information regarding their score range i.e. a unique follow up. . The language on the advertisement cannot indicate that the application is pending the credit score or is incomplete without the credit score information. - No “almost done” or “to help expedite” language. . A skip link is required on our offers/advertisement. - The skip link must be the clearly visible and readable. - It must be at least the same text size as the smallest font within the offer. - It cannot be presented on a background of a similar color to the text. - Placement of skip link must be above the fold, in a close proximity to the offer. . Pre-population of information into the Landing Page is limited to First Name, Last Name, email address and telephone number.
